UroLIFT

What is UroLIFT?

This is the latest and unique surgical method to treat BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy ). The UroLift System is a minimally invasive office procedure that utilizes tiny implants to lift and hold the enlarged prostate tissue out of the way so it no longer blocks the urethra. There is no cutting, heating or removal of prostate tissue. BPH also known as enlarged prostate. BPH is a common condition among aging men where the prostate gland enlarges and obstructs the flow of urine from the bladder. This can lead to urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, weak urine flow, and difficulty starting or stopping urination. Patients with a relatively small to moderate sized prostate gland who do not want to take a daily dose of medication, the UroLift treatment is ideal.
